US Visa

For a U.S Visa, there is soo much to go through before you are approved of one. Let me explain. I am going to U.S on October.*more on that later* I had to make an appointment and it was at 9.20 am. So, I went to K.L.(yea, there is no U.S. Embassy in Penang!!==) as the U.S. Embassy is there. I had to go 1 day earlier. I SAW THE TWIN TOWERS!!!! =D The next day, I went to the embassy earlier just to be safe and it was the right desicion because the line was shockingly long..the 8.20, 8.40 and a couple of 9.20am people were there. You have to get a visitor's pass to enter the building but they give it out according to your appointment. I had to wait for all the 8.20 and 8.40am people to finish then I got my pass. They will hold your identification card. Then, I entered the room. By this time, I was prespiring like a water fountain. I had to pass through the scan before I got through the other side. Nothing electronical was allowed inside the Embassy. After the scan, I continued my *journey* towards the place. The inside of the Embassy was air-conditioned and that made half of my day. After that, I had to take a number and wait for my turn.. My number was A108. Then they called me, and asked for all the documents including my passport. I gave them and was asked to take a seat. Later, they called my number again to scan my fingerprints into their system.(like I was a criminal entering their country). I was asked to take a seat again. For the last time, I was called for an interview on why am I going to U.S. At, first, the dude thought I was going there to work. Then, I told him it was a school program. He seemed shocked to know that I was Sixteen. o.0 Maybe I dressed too grown-uppy. After a series of questions, he approved my visa and kept my passport as it will be delivered later on. Then something weird happened. He was like "I thought you were in your twenties. I wanted to ask you out for a drink" It really made me awkward. So, I was like "Too bad, I am not your age-type then." I flashed him my sweet/awkward smile and walked away. This was a truly weird experience for me.. ALL OF IT. Finally, I just got my passport back. The visa is valid for *drumroll* 10 YEARS!!! YAY!! maybe that is the minimum or whatever but I am still HAPPY!!! =D Also that dude, he added me in facebook... -.-

Blank out

Do you have this moment where when you try so hard to concentrate on something, you just blank out? and everything that you were thinking is POOFED into thin air. Its SOO ANNOYING!! That always happens to me when I am trying out a maths question that requires excessive thinking and takes up half of your brain power, not to mention willpower!! UURGH!! After Blanking out, that exact moment, the teacher picks me to do that equation. IT HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY FREAKIN TIME!! ARGH! So,I just stare back at her like a stupid douchebag.. I don't have a problem with her.. no. its MATHS!! it literally kills my brain cells... I'll put it this way, imagine your computer is infected with a virus that will cause your computer to suddenly shut down, without any warning at all, without you saving your important documents, just OFF!! *ZOINK* Thats how I feel. The harder I try to concentrate and understand my maths problems, the faster my brain cells dies and my whole 'system' *ZOINKS* OUT. So, in conclusion, I should mimimise exposing my 'system' to dangerous viruses like MATHS that is harmful to my 'system'. Hey, I'm just looking out for myself before I 'crash' and my 'hard disc' is spoiled.

Change.

Today, we had our exams AGAIN!! YEAH, I KNOW!! So, after reaching school I decided to start studying for accounts. Then Michelle Toh, my genius but totally weird classmate ran in and started mumbling something. at first ti sounded like "a... died... hai" As soon as I heard the word died, I looked up to her and ask her to repeat it again. Then came the words... "Our schoolgirl died yesterday. she form five one" and these words gave everyone a shock in our class. The Form 5's were excused form exam for today so basically only tomorrow the exams starts for them.My whole class was talking about this topic for the day. I mean, she was so young to just.. um.. pass away like that. It really made me think that life is very hard to be brought to this world but in a bat of an eyelash it can be gone easily. Death is never given much thought until it is reminded to you. So, I made my resolution. I am going to pursue my dream without stopping. I don't give a damn about the obstacles. I'm gonna change. I have had too many second chances to just waste my life moping around. I am going to take this happening as a sign to change my life. Thank you God. And to the late Amirah, from 5 Intan, it was my pleasure knowing you. Just remember you were loved and will be missed deeply. May God Bless you.
